As a mental health provider, I know we need to invest in addiction services, trauma response, and addressing racism as a public health crisis. We need to strengthen our public health infrastructure and ensure an equitable recovery for all. 

We need affordable homeownership, rent stabilization, and to hold wealthy out-of-town developers accountable for driving us out of our community for profit. Expand the program that allows seniors to work off their property taxes and not lose their homes. 

I'll prioritize building pathways to affordable homeownership with down payment assistance and loan securement. We need to stabilize rents by supporting renters and small property owners and holding large developers accountable. I will work to expand the program that allows seniors to work off property taxes.

As a non-profit leader, I support local businesses everyday because they are key to creating opportunities. I’ll fight to ensure that construction jobs go to local residents and for 30% of city contracts to be with minority-owned businesses.

We need to reallocate police funds to social services and focus resources on violent crime. We must guarantee youth jobs and invest in community-based programs and trauma-informed care at our community health centers and hospitals.

Our children deserve diverse teachers and a comprehensive curriculum that includes financial literacy, civics, STEM, and the arts. It’s time Boston had an elected school committee that’s accountable to you with a voting youth representative. 

I will fight for better quality, equitable city services like snow removal, trash pickup, and sidewalk and road repair. We need to improve pedestrian safety, clean up our parks and open spaces and create jobs by making the MBTA fare-free.
